Dr. Kara Goettl is a dedicated and compassionate podiatric physician and surgeon committed to delivering comprehensive foot and ankle care to patients of all ages. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati and went on to receive her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. She then completed an extensive three-year surgical residency at Mercy Health – Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.

During her residency, Dr. Goettl received advanced training in both conservative and surgical management of a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. Her clinical expertise includes treatment of heel pain and plantar fasciitis, bunions and hammertoes, flatfoot and high arch deformities, ingrown toenails, sports injuries, tendon and ligament pathology, diabetic foot care and wound management, fracture care, and arthritic conditions of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Goettl is passionate about working closely with her patients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals and lifestyles. She believes in patient education, preventative care, and fostering long-term relationships based on trust, respect, and open communication.
